Ciao from Italy. I am beginning my second week of immersion school in Montepulciano. Although I cannot believe I paid to have homework, I am enjoying learning this beautiful language with other people from around our world. We have so much to learn from each other's cultures and I am excited about listening and learning first hand from new friends and their life cultures. I am thankful for this opportunity. Enjoy your Monday…. Tina
I am sure you will enjoy Stuart Young’s post today..

In this year’s women’s Wimbledon final Marion Bartoli thrashed Sabine Lisicki in straight sets.
Before the match ALL of the pundits unanimously agreed this was Lisicki’s match, and looking at her journey to the final beating, amongst many high ranked players, 5 times Wimbledon winner Serena Williams, it was easy to see why. She managed to win these matches from the clutches of defeat each time – showing the world what incredible determination, resilience and commitment she has.
But…
Where were those qualities during the final?
Without a doubt Bartoli brought those with her, the clear underdog, whilst Lisicki crumbled under the pressure of the occasion.
She’s young, she’ll bounce back and I for one look forward to watching her play again.
The point of this post though is, that the deciding factor was Mindset. How important was Mindset in the final over ability? TOTAL.
Mindset WAS the deciding factor.
If you wish to empower your own Mindset start thinking about how you think today.
Enjoy
Stu
